Ms. Meena Shrivastava, a former employee of the Government Handicraft Corporation, M.P., has devoted much of her life to working with artisans in tribal and socially disadvantaged areas. Her grassroots experience has given her strong insight into the challenges faced by traditional craftsmen.
As Chairperson of Rise People Foundation, she leads a dedicated team focused on empowering artisans through sustainable livelihood opportunities. The organization builds connections between craftsmen, corporates, and institutions to ensure better market access and fair recognition of their skills.
Under her leadership, the foundation supports artisan families through initiatives in women's empowerment, child welfare, healthcare, and education.
